SRK, Aamir's Recent Non-Successes Are Cautionary Tales for Has Salman Dabangg 3
It was a couple of days ago when Arbaaz Khan, in an exlusive interview with Zoom TV Digital, had confirmed that his next production Dabangg 3 was all set to go on floors around February-March next year. Arbaaz had revealed that the script of the film had been locked. He had also shared that the technicians and actors, too, had been finalised. Reportedly, he was targetting a Christmas 2019 release for the film.
However, if a latest report on Bollywood Hungama is anything to go by, the film might not hit the screens before 2020. The report states that Salman, the face of the Dabangg franchise, does not want to take any chance as far as the script of the film is concerned. To ensure that the script is watertight, he has instructed his team to work hard on it.
According to sources mentioned in the report, Salman has become cautious by the way big-ticket films such as Jab Harry Met Sejal, Tubelight and Race 3 have suffered at the box-office. The poor performance of the recently-released Thugs of Hindostan has only added to his worries.
It is clear that Salman now wants his team to come out with the best script possible. Unless that happens, the film will not hit the floors. In such a scenario, it is most likely that the superstar will miss his Christmas 2019 date with the audience.
