TAQWA FROM THE QURAN

_TAQWA TROUGH WORSHIP OF ALLAH ALONE_

 ۙ‏ ﴿2:21﴾O mankind,d
serve your Lord Who has created you as well as those before you; do so that you are saved.

The very first commandment in the Qur'an is addressed to all of mankind, "Oh Mankind, worship your Lord," (2:21)

Tawheed(Islamic Monotheism)is the first and most emphasized command in the Qur'an.
Every human needs to acknowledge Tawheed before anything else. In order to emphasize the importance of obeying the laws, the first Juz of the Qur'an is full of stories of those who disobeyed laws of Allah.

Fear God and avoid His displeasure, by obeying His commands and keeping away from things He has forbidden (sins).

1.Fulfilling obligatory deeds (wajibat): like the five daily prayers, giving alms, fasting Ramadan, Hajj, dutifulness to parents, respecting the neighbor, and the like.  And

2) Avoiding all sins: like shrik, lying, backbiting, stealing, cheating, harming others, adultery, and other sins.
