Hadith on Repentance: Allah created people to forgive them
Abu Sirmah reported: Abu Ayyub, may Allah be pleased with him, said when the time of his death approached, “I was concealing something I heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. I heard the Prophet say: If you were not to sin, Allah would certainly create people who would sin and He would forgive them.”

عَنْ أَبِي صِرْمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ رضي الله عنه أَنَّهُ قَالَ حِينَ حَضَرَتْهُ الْوَفَاةُ كُنْتُ كَتَمْتُ عَنْكُمْ شَيْئًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَوْلَا أَنَّكُمْ تُذْنِبُونَ لَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ خَلْقًا يُذْنِبُونَ يَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ
