Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Forgiveness!
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar (Radiallahu Anhu):
We counted that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would say a hundred times during a meeting:
"My Lord, forgive me and pardon me; Thou art the Pardoning and forgiving One".
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَىَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
(Sunan Abi Dawud 1516, Book 8, Hadith 101)!
A beautiful and simple Dua to memorise, share with others and recite.
Mercy and forgiveness is reserved for Allah, so ask for it regularly through this Dua and see if you can commit it to heart so that you too can use it a hundred times a day.
