Please remember that "New Years Eve" is just like any other day. There is nothing special about it, and therefore nothing to celebrate within it.
As Muslims we have our own days and events of celebration gifted to us by Allah ﷻ. And therefore we shouldn't be celebrating in other days, nights or events in which the disbelievers celebrate for their own reasons. As the Quran states in Surat Al Kafirun, "(Believers addressing the non believers) "For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.""
These types of celebrations are based on the wishes of other misguided religions/individuals. We have our own religion, our own celebrations, our own Lord who has chosen Islam for us and is pleased with us when we follow nothing except that.
Stay Muslim, stay firm, don't celebrate NYE, don't give up. Do that and your true celebration will be in Jannah, seeing Allah ﷻ, safe from the (Hell) Fire, and meeting the Prophet ﷺ with the sahaba. And if I don't see you in this life, I'll see you there 👍
